What a beautiful day it was as Jigna Fadia, founder of Earth Seedlings Yoga, led an empowering session of Movement Therapy, Yoga & Mindfulness, as part of the Food as Medicine & Movement Therapy series by Sustainable Community Aid Network (SCAN).
This wellness initiative, “Sustainability on my Mind” is dedicated to supporting women from all walks of life by blending mindful movement, breath, and community knowledge for sustainable healing.
This session was designed and customized to focus on releasing stress, reconnecting with the body, and restoring inner balance. Women from diverse communities moved together in rhythm, learning how gentle, mindful movement can reduce anxiety, boost emotional resilience, and create lasting connections.
Sangeeta Marathe from Urja, Holistic Health and Hypnosis, enriched the experience with insights on natural remedies and holistic self-care, offering knowledge and creation of tools like apple cider vinegar for digestion and gut health in a nurturing way.
